Some Special Valentine's Projects

Hi, it's Diane and I have a lot of things to share with you today.  I have been creating a lot of Valentine's projects this month.  The Creative Charms embellishments give the perfect finishing touches to make each one special.

This very elaborate Valentine has many layers of cardstock and over 40 bits of bling including Gradient Gem Stickers in red and clear and pink Gradient Pearl Stickers.  The gem stickers are so easy and fast to use and they always stay put on my cards and other projects.  You can find more details about the design of this card HERE and decorating it HERE.

A red Vintage Poppy with the pearl brad replaced by a brad from the 3D Vintage brad- antique flower medley and some red Gradient Gem Stickers accent the top of this card (the little cherub is from an antique store).

I added a tiny red gem sticker on top of the center brad to coordinate with the two gems on the paper strip.  It changes the look of the flower brad and matches the poppy perfectly.  You can find more details about this card HERE.

A round red Vintage Jewel highlights the center of the fancy heart on this card.

The gem sparkles beautifully and adds yet another texture to this embossed card with the fuzzy word and heart.  You can find more details about this card HERE.

I used two sets of Make-it-yours Vintage Metal Frames to create playing pieces for a Valentine's Tic-Tac-Toe game.

It is easy to create the grid for the playing board and you can use whatever images you want for the two sets of pieces. It might be fun to use photos to personalize the game for a newly engaged couple.

I cut one inch circles to cover the adhesive backing so the pieces could be used over and over again in the game.  You can find more details about this game HERE.

Here is one more card with both white and pink Gradient Pearl Stickers.

Using groups of the two colors makes the borders a little more interesting.  You can find more details about this card HERE.

I hope you find some inspiration to get started on your own Valentine's cards and maybe make a game too.  Valentine's Day is less than a month away!  All of these projects were made using a Cricut  machine and you will find full directions on my blog, Capadia Designs, at the posts I have linked.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me.  Have fun using Creative Charms to give your projects the finishing touches that make them unique and special.
