Farewell Blog Hop Tour

Welcome to the Creative Charms Blog Hop Tour! I am so excited to start hopping around the blogosphere to all the great design team members' blogs. There are going to be some fabulous projects and giveaways. Ok so first things first. I have to thank Amy for the logo she created. She created two different logos the one you see above and also a fun one with a banner swag that you will see on the other blogs.

We are having this hop is to say a very, very fond farewell to the existing team. This group of ladies have been so great. Each and everyone of them have stepped in and stepped up whenever we asked them to and we have asked some pretty strange requests. The one thing that I have enjoyed the most is they are all different and unique. They each have their own style so you will not be bored on this hop.

This blog hop is a link style hop where you go from one blog to another. Be sure to make note of a "word" at each blog. Each word that you collect will create a couple of phrases (18 words total). When you get to the end of the hop there will be directions on how to enter the GRAND PRIZE drawing. The grand prize is both the Deal of the Month and the Kit of the Month for next month (see the sneaky peak below). When you win you will be the first to receive these and I do have to tell you that they are fabulous! Just be sure to be a follower here on this blog to be qualified.

May Kit of the Month Sneak

May Deal of the Month Sneak
This blog hop tour officially starts at 9:00 am on Friday, March 29th and runs through until Sunday late night. All prizes for all the blogs doing a giveaway will be announced on Monday, May 2nd.

So enough rambling and lets get hopping your next stop is at

If you ever get lost...come back here and below you can see where you left off and then get back on track. You will be hopping to a total of 18 blogs. Be sure to collect 18 words. Enjoy and have a great time. I will meet you at the end.

The Perfect Wedding Gift

Wedding season is approaching and I have the perfect gift for you to make for the bride & groom.

I have two Wedding Invitation Collages to share with you today. This first one has the invite in a shadow box frame. I added the frame around it and the flowers to match the invite. The Creative Charms Vintage Jewel Brads are the perfect accent.

For the my next collage I incorporated several items from the wedding including the invitation, favors, their flowers and the owls which were the bride & grooms theme.

I used Vintage Jewel Brads, Vintage Flower Buttons, and Gradient Gems. Here are a few closeups.

Gradient Pearls worked perfect for the owls eyes.

You can get the shadow box frames at Joanns or Michaels. I used my Cricut Expression and SCAL (Sure Cuts Alot) and cut SVG Cuts files for these collages.

So next time you get a shower or wedding invite think about making a special gift with Creative Charms.

See you at the Creative Charms Hop on Friday!

Also, don't forget to come back for the Farewell Blog Hop Tour on the 29th as we say a fond farewell to the existing team.

Spring Has Sprung

Hi everyone!  Spring has definitely Sprung at Creative Charms!  The April Kit of the Month - Spring Has Sprung is loaded with adorable goodies for your Spring creations:

Butterflies, flowers and pink....oh my!  Isn't the April Kit dreamy?  Love it.

A little Easter card...created my own die cut Easter egg.  I think a bow isn't complete without a little bling, so a Orange Sparkle Flower was the perfect touch!

I am so addicted to using Pink Pearls.  I also added a Pink Sparkled Butterfly to this little "Hi" card.

I added a row of Pink Pearls to my flower pot for extra bling and a baby Pink Sparkled Butterfly to highlight my sentiment.

Mother's Day Gift Box and Card

Hi everyone!

Lisa here.  I love the colors of this month's deal and thought it would be perfect for a Mother's Day project.  I started with the gift box and one of the great butterflies from the kit.  After creating the box it was obvious to me that the butterfly was a little lonely on the front of the box so I added some hand made flowers.  I love adding Gradient pearls to the center of hand made flowers. It gives them that extra bit of class.

After deciding to use the large yellow flower from the kit for the card, it came together very quickly.  I wanted to tie the flower into the color scheme a bit more so I replaced the rhinestones that were on the flower with purple ones that came in the kit.  Creative Charms offers so many great colors of rhinestones, don't be afraid to change out the colors on your embellishments.
Thanks for stopping by and have an amazing Easter!
Lisa

@ The Park

Today I'm sharing a page about DD and DH at the park a few years ago. I love how versatile the Creative Charms flowers are. They're a heavier material, so they work perfectly for winter LO's, but they're also so bright and fun that they can complement a spring or summer LO. The pp and stamps are by Harmonie.

You can really mix and match the layered Simplicity flowers by taking the layers apart and using them with punched paper flowers, or with the vintage poppies, or even on their own. Just have fun with it!

Supplies:
- Vintage Poppies with Pearl Brads - PASTEL PINK

- Vintage Poppies with Pearl Brads - FOREST GREEN
- Shimmer Flowers with Pearl Brads - Green & Black

Happy Spring

Happy Spring!  It seems like here in Iowa, it's taken Spring so long to get here.  Our temperatures are warming up and I'm getting in the mood to plant some flowers and start my garden.  I purchased this little wire tree at a Dollar Store and I must admit it looked pretty lonely with just some twisted wire branches.  I used April Kit of the Month and dressed up the branches with flowers and butterflies.  The little green flowers are DG-0130-FG.

Happy Egg Hunting!!!

Hi Everyone!!! Jennifer Yates here with my bitter sweet blog post. I have a fun layout to share with April's Deal and Kit of the Month and also so sad that this will be my last blog post. It has been a BLAST designing for Creative Charms and I can't wait to see all the creations from the new design team! I also wanted to thank Midori for everything she has done...you are so generous and awesome to work with!!! :)) I can't thank you enough!!!

Sweet Treats!

These adorable Easter Egg Treat bags were made for the some special ladies who attended a retreat with me last weekend.  They all loved them, especially after we filled them with "treats"!

All the embellishments on these "eggs" are from the Creative Charms Deal of the Month!  The egg shaped treat bags are from SVGCuts.com and were super easy to do.  The gorgeous Large Yellow Sparkled Flower and Amber Pure Blossoms on this one just scream Spring!

On this bag I used the Yellow Flower Bow and Purple Gradient Gem Stickers.  Also embossed the pink cardstock with a Cuttlebug embossing folder to give it a little more texture.

This bag features the Gingham Butterflies with the purple Gradient Gem Stickers for the body and on the bag.  All ready for Easter treats and I know some special little girls who would love these for Easter!
