Sequins and Groovy Flowers!!!

Hi everyone! Jennifer here with two new layouts using Creative Charms sequined flowers and the fun groovy petal medley! I used a sketch from Inspired Blueprints to create this fun layout of my son at six!!!

I love creating fun dimensional circle embellishments and the groovy petal medley were perfect in completing the look! I used three separate circle punches, layered them and spritzed with a little water to form the edges added the petal brad and let dry...easy and such a cute way to add whimsy to your layouts!!!

Here is a closeup...

I did want to share this layout I did using the sequined flowers. Even though most colors are out of stock you can still pick up the white and black/white here. This is a photo of my daughter in her favorite "light up" Cinderella shoes! I thought the quote was perfect for the layout.

These are so gorgeous in person and make a simple design sparkle!!!

That is all I have for today!!! Hope you have a good one!

The Creativity is flowing....

When I received my Deal of the Month from Creative Charms this month
I was instantly inspired to make some cards,

I made this card using the big brads.
I turned them into balloons for this card.

I used my echo Park papers and created this baby card
using the pink felt flower.
And this was my favorite of the bunch.
This card took 10 minutes to make.
Echo Park papers & the Creative Charms Butterfly.
I hope you enjoy them,
and don't forget to run over there for the NEW Deal of the Month

On this Get Well Soon card I mixed some knitted flowers, Fancy Felt Flower - RED, and Gradient Gem Sticker - RED.

This Sweet Summer card was made by with Gradient Gem Sticker - RED, a Gem Garden red butterfly, and butterflies from 3D Sparkly Garden Brads - Green.

Oh Ya Baby!

Hi everyone!
.
Lisa here. We have a new addition to the family. My sweet niece was born two weeks ago today. I am thankful that we were there to meet her during her first hours and snap some photos of course!
.
I wanted to share the mini album I made for my Brother-in-law and his wife using some of the pictures we got on her first day.
.
So many yummy Creative Charms pieces on here. You can find that sweet butterfly in the upper left corner here. The brad in the middle of the yellow flower comes from the It's a Girl set. The word BABY is also from that set. Which happens to be only 99 cents right now! The sequin flower and the Sparkled flower (the sheer flower on the bottom left) are also from Creative Charms. I also added LOTS of pearl stickers all over this album.
.
.
Vintage Pearl Brads make the perfect centers for flowers. I also added another brad from the baby set to the flower on the left side page. And of course, lots more pearl stickers!
.
On the third and fourth pages I pulled some butterflies and a brad from the Blooming Garden set which is actually part of the Deal of the Month this month.
.
On the final two pages I used more pieces from the It's a Girl and Blooming Garden sets along with more pearls. Don't you just love that rattle and baby bottle?
.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to head over to Creative Charms to pick up this month's Deal. 133 pieces for $6.99-how could you go wrong??? Have a great day everyone!

Hello!

Hi everyone! Kim here again just stopping in to share my card I did using the Creative Charms Deal of the Month (pink).
the flowers in this months kit were (I think) my favorite so far! I love these felt flowers with the tiny beads and the soft purple flowers, swooooon! :)

This card is simple and would be easy to adapt to different embellishments and sentiments.
1. Fold printed kraft paper in half to create card base, round bottom corners.
2. Cut strip of printed kraft paper and use border punch along the sides. Adhere to the center of card.
3. Cut a strip of patterned paper and punch along the edge. Adhere peeking out the top border as shown.
4. Adhere flowers across the center of card. I used a pop dot behind the pink flower to help it stand out a bit more.
5. Stamp sentiment along bottom and add gems to finish.
Waa-laaa! A quick and easy card! :)
*to change up the card you could use different sized flowers across the center and depending on the size use more or less of them! Get creative and have fun with these amazing embellishments!

Supplies: Jillibean Soup kraft cardstock and patterned paper, Martha Stewart punch, Creative Charms Deal of the Month (pink felt flower, purple flowers, and pink gem stickers)

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Pure Blossoms for an Elegant Card

Hi, it's Diane with a few cards to share.  The season suddenly seems to be changing - there is an autumnal feel in the air here in Massachusetts.  I imagine that is why I chose these colors to make a quick and easy birthday card.

I have been using the Pure Blossoms gem flowers on many of my cards lately.  They are a quick and easy way to add sparkle and elegance to a card.

For this 5 x 7 inch card I used a piece of patterned paper from Creative Memories "Reminisce" collection and some green and amber pure blossoms.  Adding a Gradient Gem Sticker to the flower center gives a perfect finishing touch.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is cut from the Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge.  When you cut letters this small it is easy to misplace the dot for the "i" but a gem sticker makes a good replacement!  You can find more details about this card on my blog, Capadia Designs, at THIS POST.

I also used the Pure Blossoms in two shades of pink on this card.  The card is very simple but the flowers make it special.  You can get more details about this card on my blog at THIS POST.

Here is one more card that features the Pure Blossoms largest size flower.

Just one large flower in the center of the medallion creates a lovely focal point on this simple embossed card.  The medallion is from the Cricut Reminisce Accents cartridge.  More details about this card can be found HERE.

The Pure Blossoms provide a wonderful and easy way to enhance any card. They come in a variety of colors and are very reasonably priced so it is easy to keep an assortment on hand for making a beautiful card quickly and easily.

Just because...

I just love these adorable felt flowers and butterflies included in the August Deal of the Month.  The kits are available in Blue and also in Pink.  This card was assembled using Atlantic Bazzill Card stock for the base and DCWV Linen Closet paper stack for the patterned card stock.  The white strip was punched using a Martha Stewart edge punch and accented with the Blue Gradient Gems from the DOM.  It was trimmed with the Blue Fancy Polka Dot Ribbon.  Sentiment is from the Just Rite All Occassions Nested Sentiments and the ovals were cut with the Nestabilities Small Ovals and Small Scalloped Ovals.

Here is a close up of the beautiful felt flowers and the butterfly.  Simply adorable!

Lauren collage

Hi There! Amy here with a collage I made for a little girl named Lauren. I used a 19x9 shadowbox frame from Joanns. I cut everything on my Cricut using a program called SCAL (Sure Cuts Alot). It allows me to cut any font or SVG file on my Mac. Area at the right will hold Lauren’s photo.

I used plenty of Creative Charms goodies on this collage. Here is detail shot and all the details on the Creative Charms products: Vintage Brads in PinkGradient GemsPure Blossoms in ClearBrown & White Fancy Polka Dot Ribbon

It is almost back to school for us - enjoy the rest of your summer!

Jumping right in!

Hello! My name is Becky Williams and this is my first post as a member of the Creative Charms team. I am so happy to be here and had so much fun creating these projects this month.

Here is a quick card that I created using the beautiful Vintage Jewel Brads in blue. These brads come in many other colors and sizes, some with rhinestone centers and others with pearls. The red Fancy Polka Dot ribbon can be found here, and it's also available in a variety of other colors.

Other supplies: Pebbles Inc. paper and sticker, Cosmo Cricket alphas.

As I browsed through the Creative Charms online store one of the first things that caught my eyes were these cute braided daisies- they were a must-have for me. I liked them so much that I ordered some more for September in a different color!

Other supplies used: paper from My Mind's Eye, Creative Imaginations, DreamStreet; journal spot from My Mind's Eye, alphas from American Crafts and October Afternoon.

I used one of the blue felt and sequin flowers from the August Deal of the Month only I disassembled the sequin part from the flower and then layered one of the orange braided daisies on top and used the sequins as an accent on my page. I also used a couple of small red fancy felt flowers and a pink vintage velvet poppy.

If you haven't already, take a minute (or five or ten) and browse the Creative Charms store. There are so many beautiful embellishments that could add just the right touch to your layout, card or other project.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Loving the Butterflies!

I am excited to share my creations using the Deal of the Month (Blue Kit). I am a butterfly junkie so of course my favorite part of this entire kit are the felt butterflies. I also used Gradient Gem Stickers to add some shine to the butterflies and used the ribbon as "grass" on this card.

On my second card I once again reached for the Gradient Gem Stickers and also added one of the super cute Flower Brads. I consider myself a simple project kind of girl most of the time and I love how gems can give your project that extra oomph!

This kit comes in both blue and pink and is 70 % off and available for only $6.99. Be sure to stop by and grab one (or two) before August is over!

Snowflakes in August and Flowers that Sparkle!

Blue and white is one of my absolute favorite color combinations - so fresh, clean and cool.  In the heat of August it is nice to take a break and think cool!  What could be cooler than snowflakes in the Summer?

I made this snowflake using the new Cheerful Seasons Cricut cartridge.  All of the layers are cut from Core'dinations cardstock with the white layer cut from the Core Couture glitter cardstock.  The intricate design and the cardstock are lovely but they need something more to make the snowflake really sparkle.

A large blue gem brad and gradient gem stickers from the blue Deal of the Month are the perfect finishing touches.

The second row of gem stickers from the left coordinate exactly with the color of the gem brad.

The ornament can be used on a card front with instructions to detach and hang from a tree.

It is still Summer so I made another card that is definitely more seasonal!

I added green to the blue and white scheme to make this bold and simple card.  The base paper cut is from the Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge.

I added two felt flowers from the blue Blooming Garden and the blue felt and sequin flower from the deal of the month kit.

The blue flower had a sequin center so I "dressed up" the other two felt flowers by adding a gradient gem sticker to the center flower and a pure blossom gem to the flower on the right.

It is fun to mix and match and layer the various embellishments to create new looks.  The Deal of the Month gives you lots of possibilities to try.  I think I'll try some pink items next!

If you would like more details about the cuts and sizes for the Cricut items you can visit my blog, Capadia Designs.

Home for the Holidays...

My latest project finds me "Home for the Holidays" in this sweet wall hanging made for Creative Charms.  I painted a piece of wood white then covered it with papers and chipboard embellishments from Basic Grey's "Eskimo Kisses" line, (which I love, love, love sooooo much), then topped it with a pink bottle brush tree from Melissa Frances and the "Winter" kit, from Creative Charms.  I also used plenty of their Gradient Pearl Stickers, to embellish the roof lines and windows of the little houses. I hope you enjoy!

Charmed Layouts

Hi everyone, this is Ilene blogging today - ant it's my very first Creative Charms DT post! I am so excited and honored to be a part of this wonderful team. I am absolutely in love with all the little embellishments Creative Charms has made available. They have a distinct antique flair I can't get enough of. Since this is my first post, I thought I'd share a few works with you, just to give you a little idea of my style and how I like to use Creative Charms products.

First up, I have a layout using brand new paper from Echo Park. The line is called a Walk in the Park, and so is this layout. Don't you think the Creative Charms flowers and butterfly add so much? It just wouldn't be the same without them.

Supplies:
Vintage Poppies with Pearl Brads - BURGUNDY
Vintage Sequin Flower with Pearl Center
Knitter's Garden - PINK flowers & butterfly

And I have another layout, this one about my little boy. Even though it's a "boy" layout, I thought the little blue flowers went nicely with the theme and the pretty Collage Press paper.

Supplies:
Knitted Flower - BLUE

And last, I have a little card I made using some My Mind's Eye scraps I had left over from a kit. I'm not much of a card maker, but Creative Charms make it easy to add just the right kind of cute touch.

Supplies:
Strawberry Assortment

Well, that's it for today. I hope you enjoyed my projects and are inspired to incorporate some Creative Charms into your own!
