Happy Monday - can you believe that Christmas is only seven weeks away! If you are planning to make your holiday cards, it's time to get busy. I used some items from the November Kit of the Month to make one very simple and one slightly more involved card to share with you today.
The Christmas Twinkle Stickers add some sparkle to a clean and simple card.
The "Happy Holidays" sticker fits nicely on top of a 3 inch snowflake cut from glitter cardstock (for even more sparkle).
The card base and contrasting red strip are cardstock by DCWV and three tiny red gem stickers add an accent in the lower left corner.
Easel cards are fun to make and just a little different than a standard greeting card.
They work best with some sort of embellishment on the inside to help prop the card open when the front is folded.
This Christmas Vintage Metal Frame is just the right size and will keep the card standing. This one says "Goodies for Santa" and would be perfect for a cookie decorating party or cookie exchange.
The party details can be printed on plain cardstock with a cute punched border.
A couple of pearl stickers accent the eyes of the gingerbread man. The leaf ribbon from the Red Fuzzy Daisy is a nice change from regular satin or grosgrain ribbon.
I'll have directions for these cards with the sizes and cuts I used on my blog, Capadia Designs, tomorrow. Have a great day - put on some Christmas music and make some cards!
