I think my favorite embellishment from Creative Charms has to be the beautiful Vintage Jewel brads. They are the perfect way to hide the knot in bows and add that little bit of extra elegance to any project.
Hi there everyone, Erika Taylor here today to share with you a card I created using the Pink Vintage Brads on my organza bow. I love the soft color of this pink, perfect for romantic, baby and girlfriend cards. I hope you like this one.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you are all having a fantastic week and it is filled with Love, Wishes and Dreams

A Rock and Roll Cuff
Hey there everyone. Erika Taylor here today to share with you a Cuff I recently created using a few of my favorite Creative Charms brads. I absolutely love the Vintage Brads that Creative Charms carries. These little pieces of heaven are perfect to complete any project and I'm especially fond on the marble brads. They look like real marble, turquoise and amber. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!!
Today I've used the white marble brad to finish off this cuff for a "polished" look. I've got a few photos for you so you can really see all sides of the cuff. I hope you like it.
The Vintage Brads go perfectly with all of the Tim Holtz embellishments. Love that too.
This cuff was super fun to create. It was actually made from Ribbon!! Whodda thunk?
Well, thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have a fantastic rest of your week.

December Kit Sneak - Ornament by Erika
I'm head over heels in love with the December Kit of the Month. It is filled with some of my favorite Creative Charms Treasures and I wanted to share with you an ornament I created using a few of these treasures.
Hi Everyone! Erika Taylor here today to share with you a glass ornament I altered, using a few pieces from the December Kit of the Month. I'm loving these Seasonal Sparkle Stickers that are in the kit. They pair up perfectly with the pretty butterflies.
So here you are, a few photos of the ornament. I hope you like it.
For the inside of the ornament, I used ivory acrylic paint, Helmar Premium Craft Glue and blue glitter. Love how it turned out. Almost looks like a little snow storm in there.
This next picture really showcases the beautiful blue colors of the embellishments against the ornament itself.
Well that is it for me today. I hope you all have a safe and happy Holiday Season. May the light shine brightly for you and your loved ones
Until next time
Seasons Greetings

A Vintage Noel Card
What can I say, I'm a Timmy fan and his 12 tags of Christmas always gets my attention. So when that first tag came out, I had the little baubles to create it with. Hi everyone, Erika Taylor here today to share with you my take on Tag 1 this year.
For this card I used a small canvas banner and first sprayed it with Vanilla Breeze Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. Before it was completely dry, I stamped the banner with a postage stamp I have. The ink ran to really give a vintage feel. LOVE IT!!! Pretty Pretty Pretty I say
I love how easy it is to fold and manipulate these canvas pieces. To create the dimension, I used Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots. This helped lift the folds to give them that height I was looking for.
Isn't the color of that banner sweet? Against all that cool winter colors, it really gives the card a POP. Now take a look at those beautiful silver flower embellishments. The so reminded me of pointsettias, so out they came. They are from Creative Charms and went perfectly on this card. In the Antique Flower Medley pack, there are both gold and silver flowers. YUMMO!!!
One more picture hehe, showing the flower a little closer. You can also see the Glimmer Mist on the foliage too.
The perfect additions to any Vintage card I'm positive. These Vintage Flower Medleys are so pretty to work with and I love how the end result always blows my mind.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Let me know what you think. I adore your comments here on the blog, so don't be shy!!!

Oh The Weather Outside is Frightful!!!
Tis the season for Christmas cards, songs of Merriment at the mall and Santa. The weather has turned here in Alberta from Fall to Winter and I'm starting to think of all that wonderful Scandinavian faire we'll have in a short 6 weeks. YUMMO!!!
Hey there everyone, Erika Taylor here today with my first post as a design team member for Creative Charms. I've been using these wonderful embellishments for a while and I'm so blessed to be a part of this team. Talk about a talent pool!!!
Today I'm sharing with you a card I created using some scrumptious goodies from the November Deal of the Month. This deal is filled with 138 pieces of Holiday Cheer, and for this self acclaimed magpie, it is simply perfect. First off, I created the card using Graphic 45 papers, Helmar adhesive and the great ribbon from the kit. To get it to match perfectly to the papers, I inked the ribbon a smidge with Tea Dye distress ink and a spritz of Walnut Gold Glimmer Mist. Perfect indeed. Then I finished the merry little card off with a few of the red Vintage brads and a great sentiment from the Christmas Twinkle Stickers
What a perfect match those Vintage Brads are to Graphic 45 papers. Now I also wanted to show you a creation I did a while back, but you haven't seen. A little Christmas Tree decked out in Nikki Sivils papers, buttons and Vintage Poppies. Just a little extra something for you today...
Well, that is all for me today. I hope that you have enjoyed my first post here on the Creative Charms blog and if you would like to see me create anything in particular, please drop me a comment. Now off to dream of toyland...
