I love how I could layer all the different elements to create one of a kind accents and dimension! To make sure my Creative Charms accents stayed put I grabbed my Premium Craft Glue by Helmar Adhesives to adhere them down. Works every time!

Everything New For 2011

Hi there faithful blog readers! Laura here with my first blog posting for 2011! It seems like everything is new at the beginning of the year! New resolutions and new goals and for this post new ways to use your stash from Creative Charms.

Here is a layout I did the utilizes several Creative Charms products. But what I really want you to focus on is the new way I used the velvet Vintage Poppies. In of themselves these flowers are so pretty and give just the perfect accent to any of your projects. And they have this amazing pearlized center that is just beautiful. But what is so cool is that the pearl center can be removed and you have the ability to use any other brad that you would like! Which is what I did! I took out the pearl brad and inserted a Pearl Gray Vintage Pearled Brad. Now I had a whole new fresh looking accent the coordinated more with my cardstock, other accents and the look and feel I was going for in this project! You can also see that I used another Vintage Pearled Brad as a stand alone with the amazingly beautiful and rich Velvet Ric Rac. I also used a Vintage Jewel as a stand alone accent to give just the right amount of color.












To give my project so extra dimension I grabbed my favorite zap dots by Helmar USA. I love that Helmar has zap dots available in different sizes, shapes and colors. Here I used the small black square ones.

Such A Cutie!

Hello there! Laura here with my first ever posting for Creative Charms. I'm so excited to be a part of this team and be able to hopefully show you some fresh, fun and new ways you can use Creative Charms products.

Today I'm going to show you a project I created using the August Deal Of The Month in pink. If you haven't see what the deal of the month is yet, let me show you.

Here is the project I created



There were so many fun elements in this kit that I thought to myself "why don't you layer some of them" and so I did. Like for example on the felt flower embellishment. I added a bit of bling to the edges and I used a flower gem to dot my I in the title.



Here I used some of the elements to use for my banner. Banners are so super cute and easy to create and using Creative Charms products really gives it a finished look.
