You are Going to be Green with Envy!

Hi! Sandra here with two cards to share. I am loving this March Kit of the Month - Green with Envy and you are going to be Green with Envy if you don't get yours soon as the month of March is almost over! Order yours today!!!

Before I share the cards I just have to say that we have had some crazy weather this week here in Southwestern PA. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in the Fort Allen and Rillton areas who lost or had damage to their homes from the tornado that hit our community on Wednesday. I am thankful that no lives were lost.

The first card I created using:
2 Green Sparkled Flowers, 3 Pure Blossoms, 1 Green Sparkled Butterfly, and one outer layer from a Green Organza Flower. I really tried not to do it but I just could not help myself - I used 6 Gradient Gem Sticker - PURPLE (not included in the kit). I am addicted to these gradient gems! I replaced the centers of the Green Sparkled Flowers with purple gems and I added purple gradient gems to the Pure Blossoms.


I am getting into the Easter spirit and I think that I am going to make this next card to send to our friends and family.

For this card I used:
3 Green Pure Blossoms, 2 Green Daisies, and Green & White Fancy Polka Dot Ribbon 3/8" Wide

I really enjoyed working with the March Kit of the Month - Green with Envy! I have a lot left even after creating these cards!!!

This Deal Makes Me Smile!!!

Hi everyone and Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! Jennifer Yates here bringing you a layout that shows off the GORGEOUS green colors in the Deal of the Month!!! And what a perfect day to do it!!!

***YOU MAKE ME SMILE***

There are beautiful shades of green in this kit and they all really work well together! I first used the Green Braided Daisy Medley to create a little bit of texture. Next, becoming another favorite of mine, are the Green Pure Blossoms. To add some extra bling to them I added the Green Gradient Gems on top.

I love the look of the gorgeous 12" Green Wide Fancy Polka Dot Ribbon, perfect to layer your embellishment on top of.

And finally to add a lighter shade of green to the mix I used the Green Fun Flowers...love that pop of yellow in the center. AND if you can pick up the Kit of the Month as well the 3D Green Butterfly Brads were a perfect touch to add a bit of whimsy and dimension to the layout!!!

"Oh My Lucky Charms" Cards

Hi Everyone!

True :D here.

It is my turn to post here @ the Creative Charms blog and I wanted to share a couple of cards that I did with this month's fun "Oh My Lucky Charms" Deal of the Month kit.

When I opened up my DT package and saw all of the greens and teals, I instantly thought of the new K&Company's  "Poppy Seed" papers and embellishments I had just bought. Of course greens match tons of papers but I mean this was spot on perfect!!!! ;)

The only thing I had to figure out was what stamp to use. Two different ones popped into my head and I just couldn't decide, soooo....you guessed it.....I did them both! :)

The first one is done with one of the digital sets that I illustrated for Clear Dollar Stamps called "Love Tweet Love".

The second one was done with Inky Antic's ~ "Flower Teacup Mousie".

I usually paint my images then coordinate the embellishments and paper to match. It was really fun, painting my images to match my embellishments for a change! :)

The paper trim under the ribbon and the purple Prima flowers were added from my stash but, all of the other embellishments including the looped flower buttons, brads, gems and ribbon on both cards came from this month's Deal of the Month kit.

What an awesome way to get color coordinated embellishments and it is over a $20.00 value for just $6.99!!!

I would love to hear which card you like best. I can't make up my mind! :)

Spring, Where Are You?

I had so much fun creating with the Creative Charms Kit of the Month. The snow is falling outside but that’s okay I am playing with butterflies & flowers and getting ready for spring.

This bright and lively birdhouse features: Green Fancy Polka Dot Ribbon • Light Green Vintage Jewels • Green Sequined Butterflies • Green 3D Butterfly Brads - 3 Pieces. Papers are from Best Creation & AC Cardstock.


Everything was cut on my Cricut using SCAL. If you are a SCAL or MTC user stop by the SVG Cuts site & check them out. There is a great video to help with assembly. They were super fun & easy to put together.

Well ~ keeping my fingers crossed that this will be our last snow and spring will be here soon. I did see my daffodils coming up & a few robins around so that is always a good sign that Spring will be here soon.
