I adore the Vintage Make It Yourself Frames as they really can be anything you want them to be.  I've also topped them off with some of our Gradient Pearls Stickers...they're so wonderful to stick anywhere and add that extra touch.

Vintage Charm

Creative Charms has so many vintage cool embellishments for your pages.  I love mixing them all up and really giving my pages that one of a kind look.  For this layout I layered the Vintage Velvet Poppies with the Make It Yourself Vintage Metal Frames. The frames are wonderful because no matter what paper collection you are using, you can make it match perfectly....they're just the greatest thing.  I used some stickers from the same paper collection and viola.....custom brads.  I also added some subtle detail using the Gradient Pearls along the tips of my base die cut paper and some on my title.

All of the Vintage collection just blends so well together the possibilities are endless. Here is another project I made using the Make It Yourself Frames...I topped it off with a pearl and it gives it a whole other look.

Hydrangea Anyone?

I love all the little crochet goodies in this months kit.  They can make something so adorable in no time at all!  I took a little heart tin I had on hand,  but you could certainly use even a mint tin to make a this little flower box.  I covered it with designer paper and painted a glossy glue on for a finished look.  Granted you can't see a lot of the base in the pictures, but in person you can...so make it pretty :).  I took some of the ribbon that comes in the kit and glued around the edge to give a great finished look.  I then got a styrofoam ball cut it in half and painted it dark green.  This is where I glued the flowers and the leaves on to create a three dimensional hydrangea flower.

I can see doing something like this for little favors at a table setting or just a thinking of you trinket.  It's springy, fun and easy peasy.

Here's the best part of this project...you can get the embellishments you need all in the May's Kit.  Great price, wonderful selection and plenty to make with lots and lots of goodies. Just a few days left to get yours so hurry.

Spring Layout with Creative Charms Flair

Happy Monday everyone.  I hope you all had a great weekend and were able to spend it with family or friends.  Today I'm super excited as it's my first time I've been able to share since I joined the Creative Charms Design Team Family.

My first project is a 12 x 12 layout I created using May's Kit of the Month.  The colors of the kit are perfect for the Echo Park's Springtime Collection. The butterflies from the blooming garden collection add such wonderful detail and layering to the layout that really complete the project.

My next project is an 8 x 8 layout I created for one of my favorite summer recipes...Strawberry Pie....YUM!  Sometimes it's nice to scrap things that we cherish that aren't pictures...like recipes.  The crochet strawberries really make the layout POP!!!

The knitted strawberries are also included in May's kit of the month...I'm telling ya...you get a TON of spring/summer goodies in the kit for a super deal.

I hope I've shown you some projects to inspire you to run over and get your May's Kit of the month now, before they sell out....and they do sell out!
