Spring Has Sprung

Hi everyone!  Spring has definitely Sprung at Creative Charms!  The April Kit of the Month - Spring Has Sprung is loaded with adorable goodies for your Spring creations:

A little Easter card...created my own die cut Easter egg.  I think a bow isn't complete without a little bling, so a Orange Sparkle Flower was the perfect touch! 

I am so addicted to using Pink Pearls.  I also added a Pink Sparkled Butterfly to this little "Hi" card.

I added a row of Pink Pearls to my flower pot for extra bling and a baby Pink Sparkled Butterfly to highlight my sentiment.

Visions of Spring

Hi everyone!  Today I want to talk about Spring!  The trees are budding, frogs are chirping, and I'm getting Spring Fever.  This is my favorite time of the year!  It is so fun to craft your favorite Spring memories and Creative Charms makes it so easy.

Spring Time Wishes!

Hi all, Amber here to send a little inspiration your way.  Who's ready for Spring?  I am so tired of the snow and cold, I'm ready to start planting gardens and spending long days outside.  For todays project, I was inspired by one of Creative Charms cutest embellishments, The Strawberry Assortment.

I love the beautiful Strawberry Assortment, it reminds me of sunshine and brighter days.  I live on a farm and love gardening.  It's amazing to watch something you plant grow!  So I made myself a seed book.  Somewhere that I can keep seed packs, clip important articles, and jot down gardening tips I don't want to forget.  I used embellishments from Creative Charms to make this little book. 

This mini album started out as a tag book, the pockets are actually for tags to slip in.  But it is perfect to leave the tags out and personalize.  I kept everything "shabby" and vintage plus I left plenty of room for journaling and pictures during the Summer months when my garden grows.

I love Valentine's Day, it is one of my favorite occasions.  I adore sending Valentine cards, because everyone wants to know they're loved!  I have a few examples of cards made using the "Be Mine" Kit that took minutes to create. 

Doillies are the "in thing" at the moment in the card making world.  They make cards look stylish without any work!  I added some beautiful Creative Charms pink pearls and a little CC heart to finish my card. 

This card is super simple and I had my Hubby in mind when making it.  Some Husbands don't understand the importance of embellishments, so I kept his card very simple and "non" girly : ) 

This card was so fun to make.  The felt heart is just adorable and I added a red butterfly gem plus some white pearls.  The ribbon and ric rac on my cards is also available separately at the Creative Charms Store.

Creative Packaging

Hi everyone!  Amber here today, sharing a few last minute holiday ideas!  Are you ready for Christmas?  Are all of those gifts wrapped and beautiful?  If not, I've got a few tips on adding some "creative charm" to your packages to make them fabulous! 

This month I focused on the December Kit of the Month, Nouveaux Vintage.  It is a darling kit, full of vintage charm. 

I am taking part in a gift exchange this December that focuses on packaging.  I wanted my entire gift to have a vintage theme.  I started out by making a card.  I added a doily, stamped sentiment, a small piece of patterned paper, ribbon, and one of my Vintage Velvet Poppies.  A very simple card, took less than 10 minutes to make. 

Up next, my packaging.  I used glassine and brown bags to hold some scrap goodies and added embellishments and ric rac from the Nouveaux Vintage Kit.  It helped to coordinate each of my finished bags and just looked great.  Plus the recepient can recycle the packaging to make things. 

To finish things off, I put my gift in a box and wrapped it with brown shipping paper.  Love this stuff!  Cheap and so antique looking!  I kept the outside simple by wrapping red and white checked ribbon around the box, tied a bow...and topped it with another Velvet Poppy.  Add a twig of leaves and you're all done!
