June Kit of the Month - So many possibilities!

Hi, it's Diane today and I have a few new cards to share with you.  I am always excited to see what is in the Deal of the Month and Kit of the Month and for June there are lots of red, white and blue items.  With the Fourth of July just around the corner you'll have plenty of ways to add some sparkle and charm to your projects.  I used some items from the June Kit of the Month for these cards.

I wanted to make three colored accents so I added the Layered Felt Flowers to the Blue Washed Flowers to create patriotic rosettes.  I took out the yellow center to reduce the bulkiness a bit.  (I saved the yellow dots for another project).

A white Gradient Gem Sticker adds sparkle to the flower.

The "4th of July" is cut from the Cricut Stand and Salute cartridge and the red layer is embossed with stars and the blue layer with stripes with the Cuttlebug.

This card would make a perfect invitation to a Fourth of July picnic or barbeque.

The soft blue of the Braided Daisy Medley is a great match for the colors in the DCWV "Crafty" stack.  I cut a strip from one of the papers for the band on this card.

The daisy fits right on top of the printed flowers to work in to the paper design.  The paper and the daisy both have a "homespun" look.

A large pop up glue dot will hold the braided daisy securely.

The red layer is embossed with the "Polka Dot" Cuttlebug folder and some white pen stitching brightens the "hello" sentiment (also cut with the Cuttlebug "Everyday Greetings" combo set).

For the third card, I deliberately stayed away from the red, white and blue theme!

The red "Itsy Glitsy" in the kit is packaged in this three section tower.  There are large iridescent flowers, gem brads and pure blossoms.

I used a piercing tool to enlarge the hole in the center of the flower and added a gem brad to each flower.

The colors coordinate nicely with this glitter cardstock from the DCWV "Music" stack.

The lace scalloped circle cut was made with a Spellbinders die and the sentiment was cut with the Cuttlebug 'Everyday Greetings" combo set.

There are many more great pieces in the Kit of the Month - I think it could keep a crafter busy for days!  Don't miss your chance to order a Kit and get busy creating!

Diane as always your designs are great! Do you know what's happening with the $1.00 we sent to creative charms? It's been over 6 weeks. TFS the info.
