Hi, it's Diane today - thanks for stopping by. I was given "Designer's Choice" for my post this week so I looked around and found a few favorite items to use for my projects.
These
knitted strawberries are one of my favorite items from Creative Charms. This time of year we are eating lots of strawberries and making strawberry desserts. This card would be perfect to send along with a pie or some jam that you make for a neighbor.
You can even place a tiny
gem sticker in the center of the strawberry flower if you want to add a bit of sparkle.
The papers I use are from Cosmo Cricket, the scalloped circles are made with Spellbinders dies and the "For You" was cut with the Cricut using the Gypsy and the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge.
This is a simple little decoration for a girl's room. I recycled an old acrylic photo frame and added some pretty papers from DCWV, a ribbon, a monogram initial cut with the Storybook Cricut cartridge and lots of gem stickers to decorate the monogram.
I am always happy to see how easy it is to transfer the
gradient gem stickers to my projects and they really stay put once I place them.
I used one large flower and all three small flowers from the kit for this card. The blue felt frame was cut with a Sizzx die, the card front layer is embossed with the "Polka Dots" Cuttlebug folder and the sentiment was cut with the "Friends Forever" Cuttlebug combo set.
These flowers are charming and they also come in other colors - be sure to check them out
HERE.
Don't forget that Creative Charms is having a sale that will run through the 9
th of July.
ALL Simplicity items are
70% Off! Simplicity is the line of black and white embellishments (click
HERE to go to the Simplicity page on the Creative Charms site). These are great for graduation projects, weddings and anything else than needs a neutral accent. Be sure to check these out soon - they may not last long at these prices!
Have a wonderful day! If you would like to see more details or instructions for these projects, I will be adding posts about them to my blog,
Capadia Designs, this week.
