For three months I looked at blogs that were recommended to me by friends, linked through facebook, through other scrapbooking companies' blogs and more places than I can remember; but I found a fabulous, creative, and inspiring new design team to enhance the one we already have in place.

Without futher ado I would like to reintroduce the existing and new design team. I have linked their blogs here. They have some new projects that they have posted. Check them out because they are a very tallented group.

Lisa Dickinson - Gettin' By - Lisa is one of our new designers. I found her on the Jeni Bowlin Studio's gallery. Lisa has a very rich but simple scrapbooking style. Her blog has great how to's and a ton of great ideas.

Lisa Dorsey - A Blessed Life - Lisa has been designing for Creative Charms for awhile now. She has been developing our children's projects. Lisa has been making these really great end of the year gifts for her kids' teachers. Makes me wish my kids were still in elementary school.

Summer Fullerton - so there i was... - Summer is one of our new designers. I found her on the Jillibean Soup blog. I really liked how she uses large elements and titles on her layouts. Her blog has a lot of inspiration.

Debbie Gaydos - what, me blog? - Debbie is another new designer. I met Debbie through a mutual friend who was on the same design team for Allyscraps. She is excited to be make "pretty" cards and using glittery embellishments as she has been doing a lot of boy themed layouts.

Charity Hassell - Meaningful Menagerie - Charity is one of our new designers. I saw her work on the October Afternoon blog. She creates really adorable cards and layouts. You will have a lot of fun reading about all her different design team projects. She is currently on seven different design teams!

Gail Hoecker - Polka Dot Kitty - Gail is another new designer. I met Gail at CHA while she was working in the Bella Blvd booth. Her cards were some of the best things that I saw at the whole show.

Hilary Kanwischer - Hilary's Blog - Hilary is another design team original member. She has been creating altered items for our catalog and our booth at CHA. She is also a great card maker and scrapbooker. I know whatever we ask for it is going to be briliant. Lately she has been using polymer clay and making the most adorable Halloween and Christmas decoration. You have to subscribe to her blog to see what she will be up to next.

Michelle Lanning - Tutu's & Glue Dots - Love the name of her blog. Michelle is a new team member. I think Michelle may be our next "how to" girl. Her blog carefully outlines techniques that she uses. She even includes videos! How great is that. When you visit her blog, you will definately learn something new.

Amy McCabe - Amy's SVGs - Amy is a design team original. She creates some really neat things with the Cricut (svg files). She does things with the Cricut program that I would never have thought about. Visit her blog to get free downloads and project ideas.

Kim Moreno - Circus Life - Kim is a new member of the design team. Kim has five "short ones" and she still has time to scrapbook. I want to know what her secret is. Kim creates layouts and cards that are full of rich, textural layers. I am really excited to see what she is going to do with the Creative Charms' products.

Ellen Panseri - ScrapStampnMama - Ellen has been on the design team for a few years. She is our go-to-girl. If we need a project done with a short turn around, Ellen is our girl. She considers herself a cardmaker, but she does great scrapbooking layouts too.

That is everyone. Hope you enjoyed visiting all of our designers' blogs. Each one is uniquely different have many talents. Each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we will be having new blog posting. Come back often and enjoy National Scrapbooking Day...create something wonderful.

*sneak peek* Starting May 10th we will be introducing some really great "deals". Come back and see what Gail has in store for us.

Mother's Day is just around the corner!

...so what better way to put some of these gorgeous Sparkled Flowers, Sparkled Butterflies, and Gradient Gem Stickers to good use? I made this card for my mother-in-law (shhhh, don't tell her! :). I used gems from both the blue and green packs - I love how they dress up these chipboard letters that have been in my stash forever!

Love the dimension!

Here are some close-ups of the pretty, sparkly goodness:

And with all those great October Afternoon paper scraps left on my table, I put together this easy little multi-purpose card and added the Vintage Brads for that perfect finishing touch!

Thanks for letting me share!

Gift Bags

I joined in a Box & Bag Challenge on the SVG Cuts forum. I created these gift bags for my son’s teachers.

I used my Cricut and SCAL (Sure Cuts Alot) to cut the bags and other paper elements.

After cutting and assembling I added embellishments from Creative Charms. The blue bags feature Sage Green Vintage Brads & Gradient Pearl Stickers.

The brown bags feature 3D Vintage Brads/Antique Flower Medley & Pink Gradient Gem Stickers.

Inside these bags I inserted a gift card. Hope this inspires you to start creating your end of the school year thank yous!

Creating Keepsakes Sticker Giveaway

Creating Keepsakes' blog is giving away Creative Charms Stickers! Go to Club CK and leave a comment about how you organize your stickers and be entered to win 100 sheets of stickers.

Sunshine on a cloudy day...

The idea for this card came from a Green, Yellow, Brown challenge on a group I belong to.  This little cutie is named Mimosa from the Bildmalarna Stamps which come from Sweden and she reminds
me of my precious little granddaughter.  I embellished the card with the Layered Vintage Flowers from Creative Charms and accented the flowers with the 3D Vintage Brads Antique Flower.  Can I just say that I love the Vintage look these embellishments give to this card.

Here is a close up of the stamped image and the flowers. I also added a couple sprigs of leaves using the MS punch.  The CS used is the Colonial White Textured for the base from CTMH, Coordinations Gemstone in Citrine, Basic Grey Origins double sided CS and green stripe vellum I had in my stash.    If you want to see more creations featuring Creative Charms embellishments  be sure to become a follower!

Baby Name Collage

Here is a Baby Name Collage I created for a little girl named Alivia. I matched the baby’s room. I used a 20" x 9" shadowbox frame I picked up at Joanns (they come in black and I paint them white). I cut most of of the elements on the Cricut using SCAL (Sure Cuts Alot). The area at the right will hold a photo of the new baby.

Here are some detail shots of the collage featuring Creative Charms products.
Love the 3D Sparkly Garden Brads:

I accented the scallops with Gradient Gem Stickers:

These collages make a wonderful, unique shower gift for the new baby’s room!

Pretty in Pink...

Birthdays are a special day and this card was made to make someone's birthday extra special this year.  This adorable Magnolia stamp is Dinner Tilda from the Yummy For Your Tummy collection and she is all dressed up with her pearls and ready to go to a party.  This card is embellished with the adorable felt flowers and 3D butterflies from the Spring Kit available at Creative Charms.  I also used the pink Pure Blossoms for a little sparkle.  The Martha Stewart punch around the page Eyelet Lace was used for the green background. Coloring was done using copic markers.
