Care Nurture Grow

Here is a shadowbox collage I created for my son’s first grade teacher. She is truly a remarkable woman and a wonderful teacher! I attended the field trip to the zoo this year and it gave me a better understanding of what she goes through on a day to day basis. It sure takes a special person to be a 1st grade teacher! :)

I picked up the frame at Michels - it was a three pack. Size of the frame is 10" x 8". I added Basic Grey patterned paper to the back and then cut various SVG files from SVG Cuts on my Cricut using SCAL (Sure Cuts Alot). I layered these elements using foam tape and foam core to add dimension.

I finished off my collage with these Creative Charms embellishments:

- Braided Daisy Medley
- Fancy Polka Dot Ribbon
- Gradient Gems

Thought this would also be a nice gift for a Mom or Grandma especially if they like to garden. (Just take off the stamped "Teacher" and add "Grandma".) Thanks for stopping by and see you again in a few weeks.
