Lisa here. Creative Charms has lots of lovely flowers to add to all kinds of projects but have you ever thought of taking your flowers to the next step?
For this layout, tree hugger I altered the flowers on the tree for a different look.
1. Started with a few Shimmer Flowers and separate them.
2. After the flowers are separated, use a Versa Mark ink to stamp a swirl pattern on each of the flowers.
3. Then cover them with embossing powder and shake off the extra.
4. Use a heat embossing gun to emboss the flowers. (Be Careful) This can be kind of tricky because if you get the flowers too hot they will curl up. Heat them a little, then pull away. Heat them a little again if still needed.
For my layout I reassembled a few of the flowers after they cooled but you could also embellish the centers with some cool Vintage Brads, Vintage Jewels or even a button.
Thanks for stopping by!
