June Kit of the Month - Red, White and Blue for You!

Hi!  Happy Monday to you!!!  Sandra here with my last post on this blog as a Creative Charms designer :o(.  This has been a blast and a great experience for me. Special thanks goes out to Midori, our dynamite Creative Charms Design Team Coordinator for all of the help and encouragement.  Everyone that I have worked with on the Creative Charms design team has been fantastic and are wonderfully talented ladies.  Thanks to all of you and to all of you followers for your kind words and support!  As for the Creative Charms product - I have loved everything that I have had the opportunity to work with and I know that I will continue to purchase Creative Charms products for my projects!

I am not sure if I did not want this experience to come to an end or there are just so many great embellishments in the June Kit of the Month but I just kept creating projects!  I have three to share with you today on my farewell blog post.

The first is a quick gift card holder that I created for my son to give to the principal on the last day of school.

Inside (which I forgot to take a picture of) is a pocket on the left for a gift card and a place for a handwritten message on the right.  I used three of the little Red Itsy Glitsy flowers from the kit to enhance the scrollwork on the stamped image.

The next card is a Thinking of you card.  I am going to make several more cards with different sentiments and donate them to our troops.  God Bless our Troops!

For the front of the card I used the George and Basic Shapes cartridge to cut two rectangles that I made into a frame and the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge to cut out the grass and drew in stems for the flowers.  I used various flowers from the kit to create three layered flowers.  I also used three of the Red Itsy Glitsy  flowers from the kit - two in the grass and one on the butterfly.  The frame and the butterfly are popped!

I left the inside of the card blank for a personal message or letter.

My final project that I would like to share is a double page layout.  I typically do not do this, but I created a layout for pictures that I have not yet taken.  Every year we have a 4th of July party and when I saw this line of paper from Reminisce I knew exactly what I was going to do with it.  I prepared a fireworks layout ready for photos!

I loved the fireworks sticker sheet but wanted to add some bling to them so I cut each loop of three braided daisies, used Diamond Stickles (on the red daisy) and Navy Blue Stickles (on the blue daisies) to bling them up and used a glue dot to adhere the transformed daisies to the centers of each firework sticker!

A closer look at the fireworks.

It is not too late for you to order June Kit of the Month - Red, White & Blue for You and a lot of other great embellishments at www.creativecharms.com!

In honor of my last blog post and of the upcoming 4th of July I am giving away some Red, White and Blue goodies on my blog www.scrappinmomof1.blogspot.com

Thanks for looking and make it a great day!
Sandra :o)
