Prayer Journal Cards

Hi everyone! I have a super quick post for you today! I was delighted to receive the Pink & Black Kit from Creative Charms this month. I have been making a prayer journal for myself, to tuck in my thoughts, quotes, and prayers. I wanted to share with you one of my journaling cards so you could see it. I simply tuck it into my prayer journal (usually tape down) and let the fun stuff hang outside on the top and edges!

I made this journaling prayer card using the Pink & Black Kit this month from Creative Charms, and my stamp set Winged Things (frame, quote). It's their kit of the month and is on SALE for September only until supplies run out. My stamp set Winged Things can be purchased HERE and benefits the charity: E Glaser for Pediatric Aids. I love this set because it is SO full of hope, faith, and positive thoughts--plus I love the Frame!!

I have a Pink & Black full kit for ONE of my awesome followers & friends! All you have to do is head over to Creative Charms & tell me your FAVORITE item over there and why you love it! LEAVE ME A COMMENT here  AND at my blog Getting Cricky!!! Then visit my blog next week and I'll announce the winner for this ENTIRE kit!!!

Big Hugs to you!

Well, obviously I'm not here to talk about the 1st day of school but to show you what I've done with the deal of the month. When you take a look at my layout, you'll have no doubt that I've been completely influenced by the awesome colors, and that gorgeous bling.

Ready or not...here it comes:

I did lots of fussy-cutting and bling sticking. :)
These sequin flowers are totally to die for.

if you're craving something frilly/dainty...that polka-dotted ribbon's for you. I just couldn't resist and lined up a row of black gems underneath.

this brad's as cute as a button!

Well, that's it. Hope you've been inspired to use up this awesome color combo found in the deal of the month! Happy Labor day!

Happy Scrapping,

And do you see the center of the flower?  That is a Hot Pink Gem Brad!  I love the brillant sparkle these gem brads bring!

Paper: Chloe's Garden Pyramid Pad (Momenta)
Twine: (The Twinery)
Ink: (Cat's Eye Chalk Ink)

They are just so much fun!

Pink and Black with a vintage feel

Hi all!  Christine here today and I'm sharing a project with you that uses some of the goodies from the September Kit and Deal of the Month.  I love matching up my Creative Charms goodies to some of my favorite paper lines and really love when they come together this beautifully! As soon as I knew I needed to work in that color scheme I knew I wanted to make a card with a vintage feel using some of Authentique's paper from the "Uncommon" line. The kit and deal of the month are both all about black and pink so I included some of the black gradient pearls (from the deal of the month) and the gorgeous netted flower (from the kit of the month) on my card.  Black and pink is one of my favorite color combos and has such a nice vintage feel to it.  I also used some of the Fancy Polka Dot Ribbon for my bow.  With a color combo this great these kits won't last long...pick up one for yourself!

Card and Layout Share

Fall is my favorite season of the year with all the beautiful colors!
I made this adorable fall birthday card using the Pick a Pumpkin Kit from SVGcuts.com.  I used the Black Gradient Pearl Stickers from Creative Charms for the eyes.

Here is a layout showing some flowers with a  with Spring time look using a layout from SVG cuts Memory Garden Kit.  The centers were accented with the Vintage Jewels.  I find that I use these quite a lot because they add a nice touch to any layout or card.

Bright and cheery butterflies

Hi, it's Diane and I have a very bright "girlfriend" card to share with you today.  The shades of blue and green in this paper are favorites of mine and I was happy to realize that I had several Creative Charms items that coordinate perfectly.

I used the large butterfly from the Sparkled Butterfly Medley along with a butterfly brad from a 3D Sparkly Garden Brad set and a white butterfly from a Gem Garden set.

These sparkly butterflies in green are a great match for the paper that I printed and cut with the Cricut Imagine using the All Wrapped Up cartridge.

The two smaller butterflies pick up the green and the white of the large butterfly.  The brad is attached through a hole in the scalloped layer.

I used a gem sticker in the third lightest shade of the green Gradient Gem Stickers to dot the "i" in the sentiment which was cut with a Cuttlebug die.

I think a card like this would brighten anyone's day - I hope you enjoyed it!

If you'd like more details about the card, please visit my personal blog, Capadia Designs, for a few tips on how I put it together.

Have a wonderful crafty day!

Feels like Home

Hi everyone!  Lisa here.

Hope all of you had a wonderful weekend!  I wanted to share a layout with you that I created recently.  A few months ago we moved to a new town.  It has taken a bit for us to settle in but finally things are starting to feel like home.  I wanted this layout to feel comfortable and homey.  That is one of the things I just love about Creative Charms products.  Every time I am wanting to add an extra touch to a layout or card I reach for my Creative Charms box.

I used several different Creative Charms products on this layout.  My love of Creative Charms pearls is obvious in this layout.  I not only used one as an accent on the butterfly in the upper right but I also used them to give the date circle a little extra pizzazz.  The gorgeous vintage felt flower is also from Creative Charms.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Have a great week!

Hugs,
