Bright and cheery butterflies

Hi, it's Diane and I have a very bright "girlfriend" card to share with you today.  The shades of blue and green in this paper are favorites of mine and I was happy to realize that I had several Creative Charms items that coordinate perfectly.

I used the large butterfly from the Sparkled Butterfly Medley along with a butterfly brad from a 3D Sparkly Garden Brad set and a white butterfly from a Gem Garden set.

These sparkly butterflies in green are a great match for the paper that I printed and cut with the Cricut Imagine using the All Wrapped Up cartridge.

The two smaller butterflies pick up the green and the white of the large butterfly.  The brad is attached through a hole in the scalloped layer.

I used a gem sticker in the third lightest shade of the green Gradient Gem Stickers to dot the "i" in the sentiment which was cut with a Cuttlebug die.

I think a card like this would brighten anyone's day - I hope you enjoyed it!

If you'd like more details about the card, please visit my personal blog, Capadia Designs, for a few tips on how I put it together.

Have a wonderful crafty day!

This is a very cheerful card, and I love the intensity of the colors that you were able to achieve with your Cricut Imagine. It seems to have very good color saturation! The Creative Charms butterflies match perfectly and add a lovely finish to the card.

Diane, your card is so bright and beautiful. I love your use of the butterflies. I have the ones like the large one you've used and I love them. Thank you for the inspiration on what to do with the largest one, I wasn't sure what to do with it. I'm glad you had no damage, and I hope you have a great trip. Hugs, dj1952 (Debra)

Very pretty card. My mom and I both love butterflies. Here in Colorado Springs right now we have beautiful butterfly sculptures around town that later will be auctioned for funds for art in schools. You can see some info at artsandfriends.org. My friend and I take pictures and make scrapbook pages. We say we are "chasing" butterflies.
