Layout inspiration with Liz

Hello there and Happy Monday! Liz here to share a few layouts I made adorned with beautiful embellishments from Creative Charms.

Tweet Babies

I used the beautiful Vintage Pearl Brads to add detail to my banners at the top of my layout. I also added a few black Gradient Gem stickers to my little birdie's eyes to make them really pop.

Do you like the look of this layout? I made it based on a recent sketch I made. Try it out for yourself! :)

Cuz Crazy

I had fun adding the cute yellow Groovy Petal flowers and a few blue Knitter's Garden flowers. Both are adorable flowers embellies. You'll find a few Amber Gradient Gem stickers throughout the layout as well.

That's it for me today. Have a great start to your week!

I Love Bling!

Hello! Laura Evangeline here again!

I just gotta tell you that my absolute favorite thing at Creative Charms is the BLING

They have brads, butterflies, blossoms, beads, and of course... gem stickers. I'm pretty sure that nearly every project I've ever made has ended up with some sort of bling on it. It just adds that extra special touch when you feel like it's not finished or you want a special little detail.

I've made a couple of winter cards to show you what I mean...

See? Don't you love how the BLING just makes the cards POP!?

I sure do!

I'm also totally in-love with all the colors you can get in each shade. I have yet to find gems that come in such an array of colors. I'm not just talking pink or red, but the various shades within each color package. It almost guarantees that you'll get a perfect match every time.

If you're looking to get your crafty hands on a few goodies, check out the sale section over at Creative Charms. I see they still have a few kits left filled with yummy bling for some really great prices!

Hearts Aplenty!

Hearts that sparkle embellish this pink, red and white Valentine card.  The hearts were left over from a previous years kit of the month but made a great focal point for this card.  The sparkle was added using Creative Charms Gradient gem Stickers in red.

Happy Valentines Day to all our blog friends!

This card is a revival from one that I did when I first started with Creative Charms design team several years ago.  The red Gradient Gem Stickers embellished the lace punched edge and the butterflies are from the Red Gem Garden.

Romantic Cards

Hi, it's Diane today with a couple of cards to share.  It's already the middle of January and Valentine's Day will be here before you know it.  Adding just a few Creative Charms embellishments to your valentines will make your cards even more special.

This cheerful card has two colors of Groovy Petals string flowers layered with a single brad.  I used the Fancy Polka Dot Ribbon as a trim along the sides of the floral cardstock, allowing just one row of dots to show.

This card is a little more formal but still light and fresh.  I added pink Gradient Pearl Stickers in alternating sizes to the outer ring of hearts, the smallest clear Gradient Gem Stickers to the pink ring of hearts and a red Vintage Velvet Poppy in the center.

A few strategically placed gem stickers give your card the extra sparkle to make it perfect for a special occasion.  Have you started on your Valentine's Day cards yet?

Creative Charms and YOUR style

If you have been crafting for even a short time, you have probably heard people mention scrapping styles.  Personally I find that I am drawn to many different styles and enjoy creating using those different styles.  The great thing about Creative Charms is that the products are so versatile that they work with so many different scrapbooking styles.

Here are two different examples.  I created this shabby chic card using lots of the oh-so-yummy Gradient Pearl Stickers.

For this second example, I created a fun, bright card using green gradient gems and black pearl stickers.

No matter what your scrapping style, you are bound to find perfect embellishments for your projects at Creative Charms.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Wedding Favors

Hey everyone, Amy here - it’s that time of the year when young ladies get engaged and have to start planning for that special day. My friend’s niece is getting married in the fall and she asked me to do some wedding favor prototypes.

Here are a few simple boxes I created:

Here is the first box which features Vintage Poppies with Pearl Brads in Ivory.
I also used the Gradient Pearl Stickers.

The second box features the following Creative Charms products:
Vintage Pearl Brads ~ Grey Pearl
I cut the monogram along with the actual boxes on my Sizzix eclips using Ecal software.
The boxes are from SVG Cuts - the box is one piece that fits on a 12x12 mat.
They offered these for free at Christmas, aren’t they great?
Hopefully you picked these up while the offered them.

Here is the box open, it can fit plenty of goodies!
Papers are from BasicGrey - Little Black Dress line.

These boxes would also make a great birthday or party favor. Would be perfect for the wedding shower or the wedding day. Thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting!

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday! I hope all of you are having a marvelous week so far! I have a few projects that I would like to share with you today. Each of these projects features luscious goodies from Creative Charms.

First up, I have an altered project to sweeten things up a bit.  This frame was inspired purely by the awesome crocheted cherry embellishments from Creative Charms. They look good enough to eat! I thought I would use them on a small frame to add a bit of fruity decor to my kitchen in the spring time.

I believe these are actually called 'strawberries' on the Creative Charms online shop, but I think they could be used for cherries as well.

Second, I have a leather bound sticky notepad case that I altered using some puffy heart shaped embellishments from Creative Charms. February is right around the corner and it is the month of love. I figured I better get to work on some little gifts now. I began by using a bit of adhesive in the center of each heart to adhere it to my patterned paper. I then took this over to my sewing machine and stitched a straight stitch down the center of the hearts. This not only helps to secure the embellishments, but it helps them to pop up on the sides. I then added a ‘C’ to the front to act as an initial for the recipient. I thought this would be a nice little gift to give for a loved one to write ‘love notes’ on.

Last, I altered a basic gift box to add some chocolate goodies to. I began with the lid of the box. I used an array of Creative Charms goodies to make the lid the focal point of the piece. I layered lots of flowers and a butterfly to add dimension. I then added a bit of lace around the edge of the bottom part of the gift box. This project was simple and quick to pull together, but I love how the goodies from Creative Charms look on the project! They are my favorite!
