Hi guys! Happy Wednesday! I hope all of you are having a marvelous week so far! I have a few projects that I would like to share with you today. Each of these projects features luscious goodies from Creative Charms.

First up, I have an altered project to sweeten things up a bit.  This frame was inspired purely by the awesome crocheted cherry embellishments from Creative Charms. They look good enough to eat! I thought I would use them on a small frame to add a bit of fruity decor to my kitchen in the spring time.

I believe these are actually called 'strawberries' on the Creative Charms online shop, but I think they could be used for cherries as well.

Second, I have a leather bound sticky notepad case that I altered using some puffy heart shaped embellishments from Creative Charms. February is right around the corner and it is the month of love. I figured I better get to work on some little gifts now. I began by using a bit of adhesive in the center of each heart to adhere it to my patterned paper. I then took this over to my sewing machine and stitched a straight stitch down the center of the hearts. This not only helps to secure the embellishments, but it helps them to pop up on the sides. I then added a ‘C’ to the front to act as an initial for the recipient. I thought this would be a nice little gift to give for a loved one to write ‘love notes’ on.

Last, I altered a basic gift box to add some chocolate goodies to. I began with the lid of the box. I used an array of Creative Charms goodies to make the lid the focal point of the piece. I layered lots of flowers and a butterfly to add dimension. I then added a bit of lace around the edge of the bottom part of the gift box. This project was simple and quick to pull together, but I love how the goodies from Creative Charms look on the project! They are my favorite!
